AI & Critical Thinking
Learn to think with AI—not simply accept what it produces.
Service Description
Our AI & Critical Thinking Coaching helps students develop the intellectual skills needed to use artificial intelligence thoughtfully, responsibly, and independently. Rather than treating an AI response as an answer to be accepted, students learn to approach it as information that should be questioned and evaluated. Through practical activities, we explore how to identify assumptions, recognize possible bias, distinguish evidence from unsupported claims, compare different perspectives, verify facts and sources, ask stronger follow-up questions, and recognize when an AI system may be uncertain or incorrect. Students can also practice comparing their own reasoning with AI-generated responses and deciding what should be accepted, challenged, revised, or rejected. The goal is not to have AI think for the student, but to use interaction with AI as an opportunity to strengthen curiosity, independent judgment, information literacy, and critical thinking—skills that remain valuable far beyond the classroom.
